CHANGE IS INEVITABLE BUT GROWTH IS OPTIONAL…

Aloha!

My name is Mckenna Cann, and I was born and raised in the small town of Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii. Growing up in such a diverse and evolving environment has helped shape my journey and ignited my passions. In December of 2021, I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Public Health at the University of Hawaii, Manoa. I decided I wanted to expand my opportunities and pursue my Master of Business Administration degree at the University of Northern Colorado. It wasn’t until I moved to Denver, that I chose to declare my concentration to be Marketing. Throughout my MBA journey, I’ve gained valuable experience in strategic branding, digital marketing, and community engagement. I will be graduating in June of 2025 and am excited to move back home to Hawaii. The opportunity to work within my own community and support small local businesses is something I deeply value. Throughout the years, I have explored various interests, each one guiding me toward a deeper understanding of what truly makes me happy. From shifting career fields to stepping out of my comfort zone, each transition has taught me the importance of adaptability and resilience in pursuing my passions.

Working multiple jobs in different industries has significantly helped broaden my skill set and embrace new experiences. Learning how to be successful in different roles has sharpened my time management, organizational abilities and adaptability. Each position has introduced me to new challenges, from mastering customer service techniques to strengthening my communication skills. Working within different career fields has allowed me to connect with a wide range of people and truly understand the demands of its industry. My prior experiences have not only made me more versatile but has instilled a greater sense of confidence in my work ethic.

With a desire to bring new perspectives and innovative ideas to the table, I am excited to see where this journey takes me!
